Three very different reasons, one treatment
Sperm donation is how we help men with azoospermia become fathers, how single women become mothers on their own terms, and how two women share a pregnancy from the very start. We treat all three every month. Nobody at this hospital will make you explain your family to them.
Where the sperm comes from
We work with certified donor samples that have been quarantined and retested before release, on top of the standard infectious screening. Donor profiles cover ethnicity, physical features, blood group and education, and we match with you rather than for you.
How it works
Donor sperm is used within an IVF or ICSI cycle, so the process follows the same rhythm as our other treatments. Preparation and monitoring happen mostly in your own country. You come to Cyprus for around six days. Donation is anonymous under North Cyprus law, in both directions, permanently.
For female couples we also offer treatment where one partner provides the eggs and the other carries the pregnancy. It is one of the most moving things we get to be part of. If that is what you are considering, mention it at your first consultation and we will plan around it.
