When your own eggs are no longer the answer
Some of our patients come to us after years of failed cycles at home. Others have been told their ovarian reserve is too low, or went through menopause early, or carry a condition they refuse to pass on. Whatever brought you here, the question is the same: can we still have a child? In most cases the honest answer is yes.
Why patients travel to us for donation
We keep a pool of more than 1,000 healthy egg donors, the largest in Cyprus. Because the pool is this size there is no waiting list. We can usually propose a match within days, based on your ethnic background, physical features and blood group.
Every donor goes through detailed genetic carrier screening before she is accepted. We test for cystic fibrosis, thalassaemia, SMA, DMD and Fragile X, alongside karyotype analysis and the standard infectious panel. We are the only hospital in Cyprus screening donors at this depth, and we will show you the full list of tests on request. Frankly, you should be asking every clinic for it.
Anonymity, by law
Egg donation in North Cyprus is legal and anonymous. You will never meet the donor, and she will never know who received her eggs. Your records stay private.
How the treatment works
Most of the preparation happens in your own country with medication we plan for you. You come to Cyprus for around six days for the transfer itself. Your coordinator arranges airport transfers and hotel bookings and stays reachable throughout, in your language.
Our embryologists are ESHRE certified, and every egg, sperm sample and embryo in our lab is tracked by a digital verification system with over 300 matching points. Mix-ups are the quiet fear nobody says out loud. We built a system so you never have to think about it.
